Ouch! Bit of a steep increase but thanks for letting us know Rick.

(Have to confess I'd forgotten I asked about it *blush* )

Hi Diamond Joe

No worries and you're welcome.

That's a significant percentage rise. Perhaps we will see less people buying them.

Hi Al ears

It's a fair amount however i feel that both the H360 and HD30 will continue to sell well though.

Rick you really seem to know ur hegel. I have tried the hegel h80 kef ls50 usb to macbook version and i thought it was punchy and powerful, but it lacked refinement and it was not resolved. I mean it was a bit dark and muddy.

How do you think the hegel røst will be compared to the hegel h80?

My speakers are pmc 23 though now..

Hi Chr78

Thanks however although Anders Ertzeid brought the ROST along with him to the store last week i did not hear the ROST. Therefore at the moment i can't comment on how the performance of the ROST differs from the H80. Instead we had a chat about the ROST and i also took the opportunity to take a few pictures which if you're interested are on our FB page.

Fwiw, yesterday evening in the store we did a demo of a H360 with our clients PMC GB1i's and as with other Hegel/PMC combinations this one also turned out to be a great match.

All the best

Really interesting having a specialist on Hegel in this forum. I just bought the Tannoy XT6F at 40% sale, much because of the recommendation from this site (Best speaker award). Thought some old amplifier would do for a while, but was wrong.

I have gotten a good price for Rega Brio-R with DAC(1 000£), but was stupid enough to listen to Elex which I can get for 1500£ with DAC. Do you know how Hegel H80 compare to these packages? What do you think mathcning Hegel and Tannoy?

Can get one for same price as Brio-r and must say Hegel looks really good *preved*

Do you want to hear about hegel from people that actually own them or people that sell them?

Both would be nice!

Just looking for best sound for 2 - 2 500 £. Was thinking he might sell other things than just Hegel!

I think you'll find good advice from him and an opportunity for a fair demo if that's what you're looking for.
