Well 'this' just appears to be a list rather than anything specific.
But in general, a battery supplied piece of kit is immune to any mains gunge. A company called Croft used to make a pre amp which ran off ten AA batteries which is a very literal extension of the theory!

A battery supplying dc to a component direct would generally be fine but inverting it to 230V AC would not produce a pure sine wave and could for all practical considerations be considered unsuitable. Read up on the inverting process and your questions will be answered.

Well, some companies sell pure wave converters, i think in practice it could come close to the outlet in the wall wave.
The only benefit i see is pure current but would it be practical battery powered?
Maybe i should search for someone in my neighberhood that sell one 2nd hand and ask him to try out before i buy, i'm done buying things that eventually means no gains.
