HI

I am considering upgrading my AV receiver. Have just bought Sony Bravia KDL46W4000 TV with Sony BDP 5350 DVD. Have Sky HD and Speakers are Kef HTS 2001. TV/DVD combo is excellent and very pleased with speakers but wonder if it is time to upgrade AV receiver. This is Harmon Kardon AVR 4000. Has been good but no HDMI connection so not sure making best use of rest of setup. Also have wiring (inherited from previous owner) through to Kitchen so some sort of multiroom capability would be helpful. Budget up to £600.

Many thanks for any advice

If you want the multi zone capacity, of the more higly rated AV recievers available the choice would then be the Onkyo TX-SR606 or the Denon AVR 1909, the offerings by Sony and Yamaha within your budget don't have this.

I see that the Onkyo TX-SR706 would also fall within your budget, though I haven't seen a WHF review of it online.
