Also was wondering that QED Revelation is actually QED Signature revelation. In India this qued is for 24 pounds after duties and Audioquest is for 9 pounds afer duties. Kindly suggest. I want to go for the better cable...

400-strand will be fine. I think I use Van Damme Blue, which was about £24 for six metres of the stuff. Less if you buy unbranded.

I find Van Damme a little dull and lifeless. The Audioquest is excellent! But if you have a very warm system the QED will maybe better. You must try it.

I have both Van Damme Pro blue (6mm) and FLX SLiP 14/4 and I'm currently using the 6mm Van Dammes, but there's not much between them in quality, they are both very good cables, and - in my system - the Van Dammes aren't dull and lifeless at all (sorry to be contrary peterpan). For me the reason I'm using them over the AQs is that the bass is 'perceptibly better' using the VD Blue cables but I suppose it will maybe depend on what's at either end. The AQ FLX SLiP cable really is terrific as well (not in biwired config though, used as a single wire only) because it doesn't get in the way of the music at all...'neutral' as WHAT Hi*FI described it! So they are both excellent cables and both at good prices.
