Hi -
I want to test an old Audio Technica ATH-7 "stereophone adapter". Does anyone know how the colour coding works? The unit attaches to an amp's speaker terminals. The four wires are red, white, black and blue. So which is L-, L+, R-, R+? We can't find the instruction manual.
Is there some kind of colour-coding standard used with older equipment, which has since been abandoned? Could we potentially damage the amp by short-circuiting, should we get this wrong?
Please help? Thanks!
