Arcam A85/A38 owners!!

If you are finding your Arcam amps a bit short of grunt and punch try setting your input trim to max. Tried this a few years ago with my old dynaudio speakers and it did help a bit, but not huge differences but the dynaudio's are quite insensitive.

Tried this again recently and this significantly improved the dynamics and punch from my monitor audio rx6's. :dance:

I don't find a similar problem, but I'd tend to trust Arcam's ears over my own. I'm not a confident tinkerer, really.

Doesn't it just raise the gain from the input? But if it works for you, fair enough!
