Any of this Older Stuff Worth Having?

Rotel RA-01 Stereo Amplifier (silver)
NAD C340 Stereo Amplifier (black) including remote (no Phono stage I believe)
Arcam Alpha 7SE CD Player (black) including remote
Harman/Kardon TU940 Tuner (black)

A friend is getting shot of these. All in good working order but obviously quite old now. Similar age to my current set up. Would any of this be an upgrade or just a sideways move from:

Technics Sl-PG570A CD player
Rotel RA-930AX Amp

I'd have the Arcam over Technics. And depending on speakers consider NAD. Do you have any use for tuner? Most importantly how good is your mate? If he's a good mate ask for a loan of everything and decide afterwards. All price/condition dependent that is.
