If only! We're chasing Sony (again) today as we still don't have a date to visit them and were promised one before Easter. If you're frustrated by the delay, believe me, we're doubly so!

Thanks for the reply Andy

I'll try and hang fire a little longer, 40W3000 at £1k is tempting but will try and resist until prices/full specs are out for the UK 4000.

The KDL37- XBR6 looks like exactly what I'm after.

I've been wondering why Sony don't have a 37" 1080p LCD when 37" is supposed to be the most popular format in the UK!!

have been waiting for the new models to be announced to finally make the call on which to get
W3000 - 2 component option is nice but nothing a switch box won't solve
W4000 - looks nice and is a bit smaller which helps in my room
ignoring the standard issues of LCD - I do like sony stuff - but still need to decide whether they are 2 year old kid proof (more on the way).

so still keep being drawn back to the more child hand friendly pannys or pio plasma --- I think the 42 will look possible too big in my room but I know the 37" will leave me thinking "should have gone bigger"

once pricing on the W4000 is announced - I'll make the call one way or the other and then I'll let you know if you can me a real fan boy --- I own a 360 rather than ps3 so I'm not overly sony ....
