ANY Musical Fidelity V-DAC MKII owners? Need help pls. Very strange USB click noise problem.

Just pick the V-DAC II from my local hifi shop yesterday. It sounds very good, way way better than my old one.

BUT there is a problem. When using either SPDIF or COAXIAL, then turn the toggle switch to USB (when the USB port is not connected, or connected but the computer is turned off), the speaker will produce constant POP click noise, never stop.

All the three input works fine by its own, only the above problem.

I don't think it is normal. Am I right? Any one has experienced this problem?

It only happens when USB is not connected or USB is connected but the computer is turned off.

I would ask Music Fidelity directly. It sounds like a faultly DAC to me. (I have an M1-DAC rather than a V-DAC and that doesn't happen)

I have my VDAC for 1+ years, and I too hear same click when I toggle switch to coax or USB, but it stops with a click.
