Just curious if anyone here has any direct experience with this brand and what kind of products they make? This is a Canadian brand, Apparently made by Paradigm. I'm specifically looking into the STR integrated amp. Seems like a fairly obscure brand, not too much info out there. Anyone owned Anthem components?

Anthem make some of the best AV receivers and are well known in the home cinema world. I don't keep tabs on Hifi so cannot comment on the HiFi aspect, except that their AV receivers are well known for their musicality.

I did look into one of their amps before I bought what I currently have.
Never got as far as an audition though.
Well recommended by all accounts.

The STR is a great integrated for someone who needs digital room correction. DSP isn’t its only strong point though, the amplifier is extremely capable, and stab,e into low impedances.

The MRX is usually made in Vietnam, where everyone seems to go these days. Louis Vitton, Toyota, Samsung, Michael Kors to name a few. Very dedicated, hard working people. My wife is Vietnamese, so I'm biased!!!

And surely that should be assembled in Vietnam....

I heard the STR Integrated with some Paradigm floorstanders, Revel Performa F208 and some Martin Logan electrostatics, and it would've been a strong consideration for an integrated for me if I didn't already own my Naims. It's versatile, looks sweet and sounds great. But ofc try to audition.

It’s a 200wpc Class AB integrated amp That doubles output into 4ohms - it’s got a hefty power supply.

it's not small. But looks sharp, so if you have the space for it, don't worry about it looking like crap.
