(Another), what speaker cable thread, Onkyo/MA setup

Hi all,

Just a quick one...

Onkyo TX-NR1008 and Monitor Audio APEX; what are good cables to hook these up with? Looking at QED Silver Anniversary xt or Chord Chord Carnival SilverScreen but any others considered if not too expensive, (will be looking at 10-12 meters)

[Ultimately will be run under a living room carpet so hopefully neither are too big].

Van Damme Hifi 2.5mm would be my pick. Good quality copper and plenty of it and good quality outer. It's not expensive either. PMC and the studios recommend it so it can't be bad. It's not flat enough to run under a carpet but can be run around a room. I have used Ixos 233 flat for rear speakers. It is flat enough to run under the carpet and is only 1.7mm in diamter IIRC.
