At least they’re built in, unlike Naim’s add on boxes, to mention just one alternative.
I’m no great fan of Linn’s speakers, but I do like their source devices - and I’m mainly thinking streamers - and whatever one thinks of the Sondek it is a piece of hifi history, legend almost.
The power supplies are very good ime. Totally silent, immune from sundry clicks, bumps etc., from other appliances or external hash, and efficient electrically too. But being made in Scotland certainly comes at a premium price. When new versions are available they are often designed for kit that is a few years old (as well as current production), so it can be improved if you can justify the expense.
