There's a 2nd hand Devialet Le Expert 120 on Fleabay for a little over 2K.......

You'd be getting superb sound quality, beautiful aesthetics, lots of clean, neutral power, a DAC, streamer and sexy remote as part of the package.....

At least worth a look?

How can a remote control be sexy? Does the devialet come with a noisy power supply?

Ever used one? it is, at the very least, for a remote, a sensual experience. The power supply on my unit is, and always has been, completely silent.

Grossed me out. A sensual experience - thats disgusting Dont buy second hand equipment from Infiniteloop This must be a wind up Please no more discriptions of your remote fetish.

Cars are often described as sexy and driving a sensual experience, so why can that not be applied to anything else? If you'd ever used a Devialet remote you would know that the volume control has a tactile quality to it's action which exudes quality.

The only disgusting thing here is what is inside your head.

Touched a nerve hey remote perve! Ill leave you to it Call it what you want

I posted on here to help the OP with advice taken from experience and you feel the need to hijack it.

Clearly you have issues.

I wont be responding to your posts from now on.

Ever.

Get some help.
Just want to stand up for you infinite. Your original comment made me sit back in my seat also, but we all make funny comments sometimes. But calling someone a pervert for making a comment about a remote control being sexy was out of line, and I'm sure it's not something you would get away with saying to someone's face, and remain standing up. Absolutely disgusting words from Andrew.

Thanks Radiorog. I'm a designer. It's not out of the ordinary for us in the industry to call inanimate things sexy if they are well designed and are aesthetically sensual.

I find it surprising that you can be labelled a pervert simply by your choice of descriptive words.

Hope that clears things up.

Aren't you taking yourself a little too seriously? I think one of the great gifts of the 'English' character is the ability to laugh at one self.

If someone you'd never met called you a pervert for trying to be helpful to a fellow HiFi enthusiast, how funny would you find it?

Such whiny crybaby you are now. Quit it.

Lets talk amps.

Thank you. You've convinced me that I have much better things to do than be insulted on here by perfect strangers when all I've ever tried to do is provide helpful suggestions from my own experience.

I hope this makes you feel good about yourself, clearly that's all you seem come on here for.

Don't bother to respond, I won't see it.

This will be my last post.

Hey infinite. Don't leave. You are a as valued member of this forum as anyone for us "readers". You provide very valuable and knowledge comments gained from actual experience, and your help in matters will be missed. Don't be bullied, be the bigger man. Learn from this experience of getting into arguments with people without suitable social skills. Just be the bigger person.

In a sense he has a valid point. Some people should read the house rules before pressing that 'save' button....

Yes Chebby, and they've got running water. Sunday is one day, around the in-laws, a few hours away from poxy computers

Anyway I have the Yam on home dem. It's still in the box because I got 'ratted' yesterday. Have the amp until Wednesday. Once I've settled with the amp (Monday probably) I'll report back.

Must away. We're running very late.

The Yamaha will probably feel muddy and slow, but warm and veiled, sweet on top.

I don't think even Accuphase and Luxman can touch the Leema. Naim Supernait 2 maybe a hair better in some ways but worse in others. Hmmm. Difficult choices.

not sure with PMCs but with Dali opticon 8s are not slow or muddy

warm , detailed good midrange , clear , nice top but if I use RCAs the sound is not as good as using XLRs for some reason not just because of the input difference .

Can you please stop presuming possible scenarios.

At the dem I heard Arcam A39 and Yamaha 2100, along with my Pulse. The speakers were PMC Twenty 22s, which is the closest in cabinet size to my TB2is.

Like BS has said, I wouldn't give a monkeys if others didn't like my Pulse.

I'll rig it up tomorrow and give my first impressions on the Yam in my living room. Quite frankly, shop dems are rubbish. It's a question of whether I can live with the Yams fairly distinct qualities, not whether it's a good amp or not. (there's a clear and concise difference)

Back to the ironing.

Can I ask why you took the 2100 home instead of the a39 for an extended listen, only cos you seem to like Arcam in the past. I had a private bet with myself you'd end up with an a39 if it wasnt another leema.
