amp-advice on upgrade from arcam a70

Hi,

i currently have an Arcam A70 along with a roksan Kandy CDP with epos m5i speakers.

i am guessing that the amp is the weak point in my system and maybe desirous of an upgrade, thing is that the other half loves the look of the A70 (in black)

an obvious choice would be the roksan kandy amp or perhaps another arcam, but are there any others you can think of? budget 500 to 1k?

long term i may wich to change the CDP as well...

Marantz PM8003, Exposure 2010s/3010s, Used Unison Research Unico, used Eastern Electric Minimax valve amp. All in the £600-£1000 bracket.
