I've had a very quick look for this but can't find anything.
Currently my express is linked to my Sony 903 amp via the usual 3.5mm to RCA connections in my AUX input on the amp.
I want to try and improve this sound as I'm finding that the volume particularly is a lot lower than via CDs.
I know the AX has the option to use a miniTOSLINK cable. Obviously this has to be attached to a normal optical cable which will need to be run to optical input? My amp doesn't have that option.
So am I right in assuming I need to invest in something like the beresford DAC as a bridge between the AX and my stereo amp?
Or am I way off base here!?
If any of your more intelligent people could give me some advice it would be very much appreciated!!
