I recently purchased a Pioneer PDP-LX5090 and am looking to improve my freevciew and Sky Satellite TV reception. Are there any aerial and satellite cables that you would recommend? Can reasonable improvements be made by simply uopgrading these cables?

The answer in book is YES. I get mine from this site www.audiovisualonline.co.uk
check it out, there are some bargains on there. Only porb is if you not happy after trying the product you can't get a refund, some other sites are better in this regard but rarely in price.

You can get a full refund for anything you buy online (or mail order). There is a (7 day I think) grace period by law.

...Although it may not apply for cable cut off a spool, as this would be considered 'custom'

Looking on their website, I'm sure they are breaking the law.

Yeh you probably right. They did get me with that one once when I bought the wrong cable and had opened it they said cos it was open they could not refund? hmmmmmm
Still, other that that the stuff arrives very fast and in the condition it should.

If the cable was a standard one, then you had every right to a refund. Next time you should mention to them, The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
