LG partnered with youtube to bring 4k hdr playback sometime in 2016, along with netflix starting with daredevil, and for transparent and the man in the high castle on amazon prime, which means netflix might release HDR by march when daredevil releases. i assume the other big companies mainly sony and samsung will haveit available on their tv's from day 1. although by then UHD blu ray will be out to fix our cravings.

Netflix (and I think HBO and Starz) have been "broadcasting" in 4K for about a year now here in the US. Whether or not that's HDR I couldn't tell you, but our boradband has just been upgraded to 150 megabits a second, unlimited download, so I'm ready.
