48" TVs

WHF just posted an editorial about the dearth of 48" sets. Why? What's the fuss? Because in reality a 55" set is only slightly bigger, and smaller sets may not even have the same panel technology. And not even meaningfully cheaper.

If anyone wants a 48" set just get a 55" one and make the extra space, or get a 42" one.

The space where our TV goes won't accommodate a 55" but, 48" or 50" will fit. 42" is a bit small so, 48" to 50" is the sweet spot.
