42 inch plazma

From research sitting 10 feet away a 42 inch is best size for plazma TV.

My choice is Pioneer 42 inch Kuro - drawback the speaker is fitted across bottom is ugly and ruins look. Also pioneer are not making 9th generation Kuro now in this size.

or Panasonic Viera TH 42- PZ 800 - Dont know how picture compares to Kuro above and speaker I think is silver colour at bottom.

Is there any other TV in 42 inch range that has best picture quality? - I am prepared to pay for it.

Ideally the Pioneer 50 inch PDP - LX 5090 would be my choice and you can get the superb minamilist side speakers instead of the ugly one underneath screen - but I feel it is too much money to risk it being too big for where I view.

Any advice appreciated as I never realised it would be as much hassle getting a TV.

10ft away from the LX5090 will be great viewing, prices just dropped by £400. But the new Pannys will be out in the spring.
