I recently bought 2 thatcable HDMI cables and they have made a small difference in sound over the cheaper ones i owned. I currently run

Virgin HD
XBOX 360
Popcorn Hour a200
DM800S
Sky+ HD

Into my Yamaha 667 and then another cable into my TV which has thr volume set to 0. Im wanting to upgrade my HDMI cables and im looking for 1 cable which will carry just video to my TV 40" Samsung 40LE86MBDX or something it is and then another cable from my Popcorn Hour A200 into my Yamaha 667 which is for video and audio.

I dont want to spend more than £50 for both cables and was looking towards 2 QED HDMI-P but im struggling to figure out which cable is better than the other as price fluctuates between each site and they carry slightly different names. Im thinking £20 for the video to the TV and £30 to carry the audio and video from Popcorn Hour A200 to the TV

Would I see a benefical difference from the current thatcables im using?

HDMI cables carry both audio AND vision.

Whether you'd see a difference from the thatcables you're currently using only you can decide.
For me i noticed a difference i currently use hdmi-p's but will be upgrading to the qed reference, after borrowing a mates to try i noticed a big enough improvement to warrant the outlay.
The safe bet is to try before you buy if you can, if you're after qed cables try ebay i've found them to be the cheapest on the net.

hificables.co.uk I found had a QED Reference for about £31 delivered and the one below for £21 delivered. I understand HDMI carries both video and audio but what I ment was that audio is only important for 1 of the cables and that i'd only require cable that performs well with video

Can get 2 references on ebay for £45 or theres a QED classic in white which is a rebranded hdmi-p with no packaging used in the install market on amazon for £11.99 which maybe worth a look

Are those QED References the ones reviewed which used to be like £100?

They're the new improved ones which replaced the old hdmi sr, the 1m used to be around £70 IIRC before they replaced it and then changed the pricing.
