Hi everyone,

I have Tannoy Eyris 3 Fronts, centre and satellites (Pics in 'my system' section, if interested). They are being powered by a sony DAV-SC8 (all in one, dvd/digital amp). Although the Sony wasn't cheap, I know I'm short-changing the Tannoys by not using a dedicated AV amp.

So, as the heading says, What should I get to match £2000's worth of speakers?

All replies gratefully received.

Thanks, Bretty

Depends on your budget but I would look at the Yamaha 3900 or DSP-Z7 as a starting point. If you like what the Sony is doing you may also want to have a look at the NR1007 or NR 3007 from Onkyo. Yamaha will have a full sound and should tame the treble a bit and the Onkyo will give you loads of punch and drive.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the reply. My budget is slightly compromised, because i'm upgrading my sub at the same time, which will take about £400 off the total. So, to make the net as wide as possible, lets say between £800 - £1400.
