Zones 1&2 on Onkyo 605

In anticipation of tonights festivities I was planning on hooking up some speakers in my dining room to my Onkyo 605 in the lounge. I was hoping to play music from my laptop through both sets of speakers but looking through the manual this doesn't seem to be possible - it seems to be one or the other. Has any tried this? Any helpful suggestions?
