This is a bit like 'desert island disks' but instead of only being able to choose your top ten favourite tracks you're allowed to pick your top ten favourite albums instead.

In no particular order...

2. Bob Marley - Legend

3. Jamiroquai - Travelling Without Moving

4. Prodigy - Experience Expanded

5. Madonna - Ray of Light

6. U2 - The Best of 1980-1990

7. Supertramp - Retrospectacle

8. Nirvana - Nevermind

9. AC/DC - Iron Man 2

10. Foo Fighters - Greatest Hits

In no particular order...

My top ten albums is fairly fluid and changes regularly although there are one or two stalwarts that have become re-curring themes. This excludes classical recordings as I'd find it impossible if it didn't!

Strawbs - Hero & Heroine

Steeleye Span - Wintersmith

3. Nirvana - In Utero

4. Pearl Jam - Ten

5. Scorpions - Love at first sting

6. AC/DC - Highway to Hell

7. Metallica - Black album

8. Sade - Diamond Life

9. Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild

10. Vandenberg - Alibi

In very random order.

Eels - Beautiful Freak

Neurosis-Times Of Grace

Converge - Axe To Fall

AC/DC - Back in Black

How did I forget AC/DC?

I've now removed Bon Jovi - Cross Road from my list and replaced it with AC/DC. :rockout:

I have the house to myself until tomorrow afternoon, the neighbours are away, and I've got this belting out right now! :rockout:  :cheer:

I think we can all agree that AC/DC sounds best played at high volumes ;-)

Without music hi-fi would be irrelevant. Sometimes it is good to have a music thread amongst all the equipment related ones to remind us all what the whole thing is all about.

the record spot:
Rush - Moving Pictures
Aimee Mann - Whatever

hoo CHA

Moving Pictures - Rush
Court and Spark - Joni Mitchell
Duke - Genesis
Eastmountainsouth - Eastmountainsouth
Escape - Journey (struggled with that one, might be Frontiers)
Two For The Show - Kansas (ditto - could be Live At The Whiskey)
Whatever - Aimee Mann
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - Sarah McLachlan
Live and Dangerous - Thin Lizzy
Fat City - Shawn Colvin

It'll be different tomorrow.

I cannot understand why Kate Bush's Hounds of Love is not on there.
