After thinking about this on and off for the last 24 hrs and am still not fully decided I will nominate Led Zeppelin 1 which I bought 40 years ago. It's not the best produced LP but just contains great Zeppelin songs and sounded great on a Dansette when I was a teenager and still sounds great today.
Now if I could just name 2 more..

I'm pretty keen on Madman Across the Water by Elton. Mind you I don't have a TT any more so I shouldn't comment. The original version from 1971 or whatever.

Probably too recent for Clare, mind.

Dixie Dregs.....Night of the living dregs.....

Besides anything by Tool it would have to be Mechanical Animals by Marylyn Manson solely because of the pressing by simply vinyl, the best pressing I have ever heard.

Sivuca 12" vinyl of Ain't No Sunshine. (London Records) Had it for about 25 years. My all time longest lasting, favourite and still contempory sounding tune. Sounds great on vinyl but not so on the couple of cd versions I have managed to obtain.

Just acquired: Queens of the stone age (cool cover), bat for lashes (nice) & Led Zeppelin box set (the song remains the same)
