Yamaha YDS-12 iPod dock

Does anyone have a Yamaha YDS-12 iPod dock?

I have an iPhone 4 and although it says it's compatible, does anyone know if I can control the iPhone with the remote, ie, for track selection, etc?

I Have an the ipod dock you mention but unfortunately don't use an iphone but an ipod classic. Should be able to use it if it is compatible. My ipod classic works perfectly with it.
