Hello all.
I have just purchased the 48in LG C3 Oled with an awesome deal including a free Xbox X.
The annoying thing I have found is that the Xbox doesn't recognise the TV as 4k
Upon searching the web for answers it is staggering how many people have experienced the same problem with the C3 AND the C2
Now I usually stand firm with reading reviews from what hifi with my purchases but why has this not been picked up or mentioned by testers regarding this.
Yes this is an awesome TV, but because I can't use it for the purpose I wanted it for ( 4k gaming ) I feel really disappointed with my purchase and also with the reviews for not informing potential buyers of these TV's regarding this common issue.
Has anyone else experienced problems regarding this?

I had the same problem and after checking the settings I found that the problem was with the HDMI cable. You need an HDMI 2.1 cable to support 4k 120Hz. After changing the cable, my Xbox recognized the TV as 4k immediately. Try checking your cables!
