I bought a hisense 65m7000 65" uhd tv, would I buy a Hisence again, sorry no way, apparent the HD content is not available on most functions and the software is rubbish after the last update with Freeplay, its full of bugs and flaws and one cannot even access the smart feature, this is regardless the net is working and nexflix is available.

regarding the fact that you have had a bad experience with a Hisense tv and wouldn't buy one again (infact your first thread is on the same page as this new one).

I get that you have had some problems but what do you expect when you've probably paid half the price for your tv than what you would for the same sized "brand" name (like Sony, Panasonic etc).

If your tv is still under guarantee then either ask for a replacement or save up for a better make.

*boredom*

But this is a growing and continued problem. With popular products like TVs, wireless speakers, soundbars, soundbases etc, there have been a number of manufacturers who have come out of nowhere to try and compete in the market. Of course, they can't compete on quality terms, and even if they could, they don't have the name behind them. So, they choose to compete on price, making products in tight budgets, which of course affects quality/back up/service etc. People who don't frequent the electronics scene in any way shape or form have no idea about this when they come to need a replacement TV or other tech. So where do they go? They stick to names they know - places like Argos and Currys, and with supermarkets now getting in on electronics, probably just decide to have a look there while they're grabbing their weekly shopping. Add to that the massively increased reliance on price being a major factor when shopping. When these unknown brands are about half the price of big brands, and being able to get a 55" TV instead of a 37" TV for example, it's hard for people to ignore.

Of course, if they'd have visited a more specialist store they'd have received better advice - granted, they'd have spent more money, but far less likely to be unhappy with sound quality/picture quality/software issues etc. If people aren't prepared to put in a bit of time researching and auditioning their future purchases, they're more likely to end up with a bad experience. I bet very few just ring around for the cheapest price on the car they like the look of based on spec.

The price was not that much different to the known manufacturers , but that does not excuse them, I pointed out flaws and bugs in their software and one would think they would put that right and send an update to their TV's its been 6 months and nothing, if they want to sell in the UK they need to have support as good as the product.
