Nice to be able to recommend a company.

Have been excitedly buying all the mains upgrades fro my eagerly awaited Panasonic 37LZD85. Got 3 of Mr Andrews' powermax mains leads delivered next day-beautifully packaged and with catalogues and with phone advice.

In my excitement forot to check the mains connection for my nearly new Sony HDD recorder. To my horror saw a blinking figure 8 instead of the [what I thought was standard] cloverleaf. Phoned RA who posted me an adaptor straight away after a call.Even got a tip to try my figure 8 up both ways as it apparently makes a difference even though it is symetrical!!!!!

Nice peeps to deal with

I can't praise these guys highly enough. He only has a handful of peeps working for him by they do know thier stuff! Russ insists that all his staff are keen hifi/home cinema enthusiasts, and it's to that end, that they can and will offer genuine advice. As far as Im concerned their customer service is a hifi upgrade in itself!:)

how can you replace the mains cable for the 37lzd85 when the mains cable is built into the tv, there is no mains fig 8 or iec connection?

..But of course the fixed cable sort of tells you something in the first place no?

Didnt mean to start an epidemic of in-jokes and spleenventing.

Just thought it appropriate to commend service/product from company you,yourselves recommended in your ultimate guide!!!

I know the TV mains lead is fixed,i purchased 3 -for my Arcam amp, Rega Planet CD and the HDD recorder.

I would have assumed one of the purposes of this forum was to commend good service and to warn members of the bad.

Ever seen my wife make toast,Polly?????

Oh it is, it is. But Russ's products get a fair beating around here from cable non-believers, (particularly since their unfortunate run-in with the Advertising Standards Authority), and we were waiting for the other shoe to drop (which doesn't appear to have happened, thankfully)..........
