Wishful thinking : blu-ray + upscaling DVD + 1080p + 24fps + great CD sound?

Are there any universal disc player boxes yet that would handle blu-ray, upscaling SD DVDs and deliver great sound from 'old fashioned' CDs?

music and movie players are hard and expensive to come by, as components generally do one thing good the others are normally just add-ons.
i dont know of any that does all 3 well but the marantz dv7001 comes in at 5-600 good for cd an dvd want to spend more get an arcam, if you've got the room though a cheaper option is to get a marantz cd-6002 for 200 and denon dvd-1940 for 150 [maybe they'res not much in it between this dvd player and the dvd readers on the bluray,i don't know worth some research surely though] and for bluray either the panasonic one around 300 or if your into games ps3 which isn't as good as the pana but i dont think its far off. if moneys the problem id get the bluray player first and then cd later, as im tight on space myself i can see myself with either the marantz dv7001 or an arcam so i can gewt rid of the dvd and cd player.

Think you will struggle to get all three. Most Blu-Ray players do a good job of upscaling DVD though, so I think your best bet is to go for a budget one of those (e.g. Panasonic DMP-BD30 or PS3) and a decent budget CD player like the Marantz CD6002. This would come in under the price of the Marantz DV7001, yet provide better CD playback plus also Blu-Ray + decent upscaling DVD playback.
