Wireworld Matrix, Stratus Power Cord & Naim Powerline

Added to seperate topic from Rega Dac Demo at last.

I should be getting loan of a wireworld matrix passive mains block + stratus 5 power cord to see if this improves things. Dealer also said about loan of Naim powerline which is frightfully expensive but be very interested to what extend (if any) this changes the sound for better/worse.

Anyone got experience with these power products?

I'm a big fan of the effect that power cords can have, but don't spend more money than would give you a bigger benefit elsewhere.

I haven't heard either of these personally, but the Naim is supposed to have a worthwhile effect, but at £400 it would be better on higher end kit.

The Stratus has been received well, but you should also consider something like the Clearer Audio Copper Line Alpha +.....which can be sent back if ineffective.

Can't see I will be going with Naim Powerline, just not got the money anyhow. It is useful experiment however and comparision against the Wireworld Stratus will be interesting.

Either way I expect DAC upgrade to Rega Dac should make the more difference than power conditioning.

I'll find out soon!
