Anybody have any experience of wireless HDMI?

Looking to extend Sky HD to upstairs (about 12ft as the, er, crow flies, through the "ceiling" of the lounge).

Was using Cat 6 extenders, which worked fine up until a couple hours ago. Have now given up the ghost completely for some reason, so researching other options.

Thanks in advance for any assistance / suggestions.

On the off chance that anyone's interested, i've now fixed this for both rooms upstairs.

I cheated in one room, i've run an hdmi through the floor of the master bedroom down to the living room. Slightly daunting for a first-timer, but all done within an hour and "made good" (filled holes, trunked cables, etc.) within the next.

However (and here comes the interesting bit), for the second bedroom i used a Marmitek Gigavideo 800 wireless HDMI package. Took a bit of a punt on it as it's £350 and i could find only one review (which read very much as if it was written by an "insider", though i may be being unfair).

But i received it today and it is complete genius. It's travelling through the roof and a couple of brick walls, but with full signal being received. Just need to find where to place the ir blasters...
