Windows 10 audio clicks & pops problem

Hi

Has anybody experienced audio clicks & pops in their audio on PC after upgrading to Windows 10? I always had my output setting on 24 bit - 48 Hz on my Realtek audio with Windows 7 and had no problems. But after "upgrading" to Windows 10 I'm experiencing clicks on my audio. But it I put my output setting on 16 bit - 48 Hz it's gone.

Now I have done everything suggested and in the book without any luck. Windows is fully updated and the Realtek driver is the very latest.

Anyone?

Lourens, what media player do you use and are you taking audio from your PC directly or to external USB DAC?

yes, some functions couldn't be supported by win 10. Maybe you could find some similar software to replace it.

I used macgo free media player to replace windows media player which cannot support playback dvd discs on Win computer freely.
