Will cartridge upgrade improve performance more than stylus upgrade...

Only had my Project Debut SB for a couple of months but already got an urge to upgrade!

Will I see a more significant improvement if I change from the fitted OM 5E cartridge to a 2M Red (£65) than if I simply upgrade the 5E stylus to a 10 (£37)??

Will I also need to buy a new counterwright for the tonearm, as I believe the fitted one only supports cartridges up to 6g and the 2M Red is 7.5g...

Yes you will need to buy the accessory counterweight for cartridges between 6 - 9gms as stated in your instructions....

I'd be hesitant about spending too much on a cartridge. The Debut really is a budget player - you'd be better off putting the money towards a better turntable.
