Wich Marantz SACD player or a bly ray Denon?

I want to upgrade my CD audio quality.

Now I'm using a Denon blu ray BD-3800 as CD player, my amp is a Denon AVC-A1HDA. My speakers are Phonar P5 (5.1 configuration). All cables are Chord.

I'm thinking of a Marantz and have the choise between a SACD 11 S1 or a SACD 15 S2.

I was also thinking about a Denon BD-4010UD wich has multichannel and 4th link but the Marantz will probably give better audio.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Hi Bart, I think with your kit being as good as it is and the amount of money you are looking too spend, I would defiantly be trying too get all three of those on home demo and some others if possible. I cant really comment on which ones would be better but my guess would be either of the Marantz models. also if you dont need the SACD capability you could possibly get a standard CD player that will perform better than the ones mentioned for the same price. its defiantly not an inexpensive purchase so to make sure you get something your happy with I think a home demo is a must.
