Why have i still got an analogue chanel???

I live in the granada region & analogue has just been switched off (yay), i have retuned the analogue channel expecting to get nothing, but i still have a choice between freesat, freeview & anologue, when i go into the analogue channel i have one channel of static.

How come the analogue channel hasn't dissapeard, i don't need it now.

Because although the analogue signals have been turned off, you still have an functional analogue tuner in the tv.

Okay i've thought about it now, is it for the scart connection that i don't use.
