My system uses steaming as a 1/3 approx equal share of sources used. The other being CD and radio. Today I streamed an entire 3hour radio show from the weekend off the iPlayer (I am loving the Dermot O'Leary radio show) and an old Bruce Springsteen album (ghost of tom joad (recommended)). The k3 amp makes this very simple. I still use CD because the DACs in my CD player are fantastic and make the music sound ace. I cannot use computer as the fan makes a right racket.

I mentioned this in another post although tonight I've used it to create an album (CD) from a live concert I'd downloaded from Youtube.

As I said before this may not be the best program out there but its free and does everythng I require. A little slow as I had to find the end of each song (no need to listen through the whole track as there is a wave form of the album) stop the playback and split the file at this point, repeating for the whole album. I know I could have just ripped it all to a disc but the CD player would see the whole album as one long recording rather than 24 individual tracks.

It has slightly compressed the files, although I couldn't tell the difference when I played them back and as the CD's are for the car , sound quality was never really going to be an issue.

Two albums, one single and one double for a bit of my spare time and £0.60 has got to be a bit of a bargain.
