Which Technics Receiver/Amplifier are the best

I recently bought a pair of Pioneers SP-FS52 speakers and I'm going to buy an old Technics receiver or amplifier. Can someone tell me how to understand the Technics equipment model names? Can anyone give me your opinion on which one of these receivers or amplifiers are the best for hearing 60's to 90's rock music?

Had one back in the late 90s. Got five stars from WHF back then.

How it compares to newer stuff I have no idea, but it sounded pretty darned good for not stupid money back then.

I think it was 500 Pounds then, and beer was about two Pounds a pint, so 1500 Pounds in today's money?
