Which tablet for a 16yr old?

In the end we went for the Asus vivo smart tab. It now looks like it will be going back. It went back to the Cech republic last Monday for a repair (no sound). Brilliant we thought, very quick repair. Now it seem all is not well. When you switch it off it seems like the back light is staying on as the screen is quite warm. This is therefore now draining the battery life. Think I will get a refund as it is only 4 months old.
