which one b4 VAT GOES UP

Been looking at the sony 46x4500 and the 46 z5800 3sat

price wise theres not much in it 1 a LED full back light 100hz bravia engine2

the other 200hz bravia engine3

but dont no which 1 best

budget about £1500 at at a push

need to choose b4 the old VAT goes up

any advice will help

Assume you've seen all these sets in the wild? Good idea if you're spending that level of cash!

Why rush your decision because of the VAT rise? Take your time as you have to live with this set for a while. I suspect many retailers won't be putting the VAT up on January 1st anyway, like us. Wherever you're thinking of purchasing from, find out when they're putting theirs up.

Thats good sound advice. Even on a £1000 set your only talking about £25.00.

Much more important get the right set that suits you and your circumstances.

Cheapest ive found the Z is £1480 at play.com

Wow, I take it back. Digital Direct have an X at £1540! (Clearance sale, but theyre not the best of companies to deal with ~ still, free 4 yr warranty if you buy today)
