if hes changed the sub settings on the Amp it will effect it. If wired. If it will not connect it sounds to me like wireless.....
Wired subs are always connected surely?
check the Amps sub settings .Wired but can’t get it to make any sound?
Tried that. Nothing I tried worked, I tried change settings, calibrating it but nothing.check the Amps sub settings .
plug it to another Amp see if its the Sub also check the cableTried that. Nothing I tried worked, I tried change settings, calibrating it but nothing.
Sub is working fine. Setting up Pioneer amps are always difficult because you have to change the setting from large to small for the front speakers and then for the sub to work, which I have tried that too.plug it to another Amp see if its the Sub
worth checking also check if there is a fuse on the sub .Sub is working fine.
The green light went on earlier to say it was on.worth checking also check if there is a fuse on the sub .
I didn’t have these problems with the Denon or Sony amps…Some time I might well change my amp if I can get a good deal!
Dont get a AV AMP and stick to japananese brands. Some time I might well change my amp if I can get a good deal!
I will be definitely be getting an av amp. 🙂Dont get a AV AMP and stick to japananese brands.
why AV if your using Stereo ?I will be definitely be getting an av amp. 🙂
HDMI, sub inputs and connecting to my TV and Blu-ray player, I am not sure if all stereo amps include all these things?why AV if your using Stereo ?
Some do have these like the Marantz i told you about PM7000N has it all.HDMI, sub inputs and connecting to my TV and Blu-ray player, I am not sure if all stereo amps include all these things?
To be honest I really want the Sony AN1000 it’s fantastic!
Agree, the av amps I have are far superior to that Cambridge Audio crap I tried. The notion an AV amp can't deliver SQ comparable to a dedicated 2 channel setup, or are some kind of compromise is another audiophool myth!
Plus the connectivity they offer isn't even comparable... If you can/do make use of it, of course.
It’s ok, Shrek, I will just keep with 2 channel stereo setup with my Pioneer because the Sony isn’t as good as my Pioneer and the Denon definitely ain’t! 🙂![]()

What Hi-Fi? Awards 2025 winner. Sony’s new home cinema amplifier is worth the waitwww.whathifi.com
It's the bits you don't use that make them economically no viable in my opinion. The notion an AV amp can't deliver SQ comparable to a dedicated 2 channel setup, or are some kind of compromise is another audiophool myth!
