Which CD seperate ?

I am using a Denon DRA-455 receiver with a Bose Acoustimass 3 in my little hideaway/office and want to add a decent/affordable CD player to the set up.

I thought of the Denon DCD-500AE but the write-ups aren`t good,what about the Marantz 5001 or 6002 or any other suggestions, (in black) ?

Marantz definitely worth a look, also consider the Cambridge 340 / 540 / 640C, depending on how much you want to spend.

Marantz 5001 is probably your best bet; it will match the reciever and will hopefully sound really good! But do not leave out the Denon CD player just because it didn't get good reviews (infact many people did give it good ones)...the only way to tell is to listen! : )
