Which 1080p TV?

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a 40-42inch 1080p LCD TV, but after trawling through loads of reviews I'm still unsure which one to buy. I was considering the SAMSUNG LE40M87BDX, but the reflective screen is off putting.

It will mainly be used for playing Xbox 360, watching DVDs thorugh an upscaling player and Sky SD. I only want to spend between £700-£850, is that unrealistic? Can anyone give me any advice?

Must it be LCD? The Sony KDL-40W3000 (LCD) is great, but well outside your budget. You might find a much better price on the Panasonic TH-42PZ70 plasma (Full HD), officially £1400, but available for nearer your budget if you shop around. The picture quality on the Pana is terrific.

if your using a 360- whats wrong with plasma. it handles movement better more often. id go for panny pz70. do you really need full hd on xbox. id say ps3 was more worthy of it myself.
