Where do I go from here?

OK, you've got my attention! 😉

Forgive my ignorance on the cable side of things but I can see the ones on 'designacable' that would be for my Meridian CD player to connect to the Naim NAIT 50 but I don't know about the XLR from the Bluesound to the 5-pin DIN in the amp. Am I missing something?

Many thanks
I will throw this into the mix IF you’re looking at the blu sound icon. You could just buy some active speakers like the ae1’s and have a very tidy system.

Again just throwing it out there as an option.

It would work out cheaper than the naim blusound combo and would sound fantastic . Admittedly the naim amp is very very good . But it’s an option open to you.

The active speaker option ideal, but the MM stage on the N50 cannot be ignored if OP is using vinyl as a source.
Not sure how active speakers deal with phono inputs other than an interposing MM MC stage?
Oh yeah I get that I currently use it myself.
The icon excepts an anologue input so if the op has phono stage it can be connected. Though I see no mention of vinyl in the original post.

I've had a Naim nait xs and Superuniti and neither were anywhere near fatiguing...It's a trait that was well known from many years ago and isn't really a problem in their more modern products.
I agree with PP though, in that a dem is the best way to go about getting new kit...or even x demo stuff is a good option too.

I think if you are looking for a "dumb amp". I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Exposure amplifiers...there's a really nice 2510 on that well known auction site.....add a half decent streamer "Bluesound Icon" other products are available..lol....and I reckon that'll be a kick-ass system....I had a 3510 s2..it developed a problem outside of the warranty...they just said..send it to us and they fixed it and serviced it free of charge...I will own another Exposure amplifier at some point.....just because they deserve it...and they sound bloody good.
