Indeed, cannot see anywhere the OP stating they own one....I'm having a brain freeze. Do you own a Naim or is it just a consideration?

I will throw this into the mix IF you’re looking at the blu sound icon. You could just buy some active speakers like the ae1’s and have a very tidy system.OK, you've got my attention! 😉
Forgive my ignorance on the cable side of things but I can see the ones on 'designacable' that would be for my Meridian CD player to connect to the Naim NAIT 50 but I don't know about the XLR from the Bluesound to the 5-pin DIN in the amp. Am I missing something?
Many thanks
No the OP doesn’t they are asking for amp/intergrated streamer options, I suggested a “dumb” amp and streamer combo and @The_Lecht_Rocks suggested the naim nait 50 as an option, which the OP seem keen onIndeed, cannot see anywhere the OP stating they own one....
Oh yeah I get that I currently use it myself. The active speaker option ideal, but the MM stage on the N50 cannot be ignored if OP is using vinyl as a source.
Not sure how active speakers deal with phono inputs other than an interposing MM MC stage?
There's no mention of vinyl playback anywhere as far as I can see.Oh yeah I get that I currently use it myself.
The icon excepts an anologue input so if the op has phono stage it can be connected. Though I see no mention of vinyl in the original post.
In that case it's best to demo a Naim first, then the dealer will recommend the best cables to match the amp. Plus, Naim IME need a good, long demo. They impress on a short demo but long term you need the right speakers, otherwise they can be fatiguing.Indeed, cannot see anywhere the OP stating they own one....
Don't discard the Atoll IN100!!😊Exposure nice.
New Brio mk7 nice too but couldn’t match the N50 dynamics.
