Yeah, more music for me. I've got my annual bonus landing in my pay packet next week but have no need to add to my main or headphone setups. It's simultaneously a relief, a disappointment and a bit weird 😆

My youngest daughter (12) is introducing me to new bands and she's really into music in general as she's learning to play the bass guitar, so I get to buy a bunch of new records that we both get to enjoy and then she'll appear a couple of hours later, having figured out how to play bass lines from the new album. Quite staggering really, I never had that sort of musical aptitude.

My 2 and half year old Samsung Odyssey G7 32" monitor was playing up, overheating and switching itself off and coming back on after 10-15 mins. Disabling the led lighting helped but would turn off intermittently after an hour. Anyway, Samsung customer service is pretty poor but I will try and get it repaired, I think the UK consumer warranty has expired.

My new wide screen LG Ultragear 34" monitor arrived and I was able to assembly it this week end, same curve screen. Better for the eyes because you don’t have to stretch to look at the screen.
Not strictly HiFi, well it's got built-in speakers, it makes a sound but henceforth shall remain muted.
Nice, good for productivity and gaming!
