Question What's your next HiFi purchase?

I recently changed most of my gear. Went from B&W 601s to Dynaudio Evoke 20s. Went from a Cambridge Audio CXA60 + CXC V1 to CXA81 + CXC V2.
Changed my Technics 1210 MK2 for a Technics SL-1500C + Cambridge Alva Solo. Also added a Denon DRM-44HX tape deck and a Wiim Ultra. Pretty happy with the result...for once 🙂

Nice, the cheapest I've seen is on Amazon but why is Black nearly £11 more expensive than White?

Anyone who has big feet and, buys shoes on Amazon will confirm that. I wear UK13s and they can be twice the price of smaller sizes, even compared to 11s and 12s. I shop carefully and never pay rip-off prices.

I don't see how stands can give a speaker more performance, better positioning yes.

Raw SS-6. I have no idea how to upload pics here…
I will correct myself also ! The performance of the speakers has been released by the SS6. My previous stands were a budget solution. These do exactly what the reviews and manufacturers say. They give the speaker the isolation to work as intended.

I should think the only purchase I'll make in 2026 will be some Kanto SX26 stands for my Lumina speakers. I currently have the SX22 on my Sonetto, so this will be a visual match, albeit about 10cm taller to fit the speaker size.

Extremely good stands btw, check them out.

I think I have been fortunate in that all of my standmounts have been ideally placed on the Partington Super Dreadnoughts that I have had for years....

I've just bought a 2nd hand Chord Ttoby off ebay (£700) and a pair of Dali Menuet speakers from PT (£600 brand new) using node Icon as a pre amp also from PT (nearly new £550 a few months ago) for my home office. So thats me for quite a long while I think.

I'm really pleased with the Chord its the first A/B amp I've bought in 35 years (my NAD 216THX lasted over 20 years)

It sounds incredible, detail and separation while staying musical, theres depth and height to the sound stage that surpasses the NAD M10, I think the Dalis are living their best life.
