Not having an earlier copy to compare it to, my opinion might not count for much, so all I can say is that there is absolutely no surface noise on my copy & to my ears it has been very well mastered. It has a fairly exciting presentation, but then I did follow the instruction on the back of the sleeve: "To be played at maximum volume"
I really like it.
The DVD, for me, is a bit of a gimmick. It's not a DVD A, it's a normal video DVD with a static picture. As my computer took a dislike to it & refused to play beyond the first 10 seconds I had to play it through a normal DVD player & the telly (no home cinema set-up at the moment) so I wasn't getting anything like the desired/intended effect. Given a decent 5.1 system I reckon it would be pretty impressive.
Worth £20? Oh yes, without a doubt, which makes the fact I only paid £14.04 for it all the sweeter!
