Bat for Lashes - Fur and Gold.

Very few new releases bar the DMM's etc. are well recorded, mixed and mastered but this one breaks the mould, big thumbs up.

I've learnt to only take as much cash with me that I'm prepared to spend, otherwise there's always just one more LP to buy, followed by just another one etc.etc.

In Manchester there are two different companies who run fairs alternately so it works out there's a fair virtually every month or 6 weeks or so.

Soon be warm enough for car boot sales as well

King Crimson - `Lizard` Not exactly easy listening music for a sunday but when you`ve got the house to yourself for a few hours you need to make the most of it.

Yes indeed, they are always at Sasha's hotel, both companies. It's a good location, right in the centre of Manchester, and when you come out you turn round the corner and you are at Piccadilly Records and Vinyl Exchange

VIP do the best fairs, lots more stalls than the other people, Premier Fairs.

Gamma Ray - `Heading For Tomorrow` When co-founder member of Helloween Kai Hansen left the band they never really recovered. He formed Gamma Ray and this was the first album they made and it`s great. In all honesty it does sound very much like Helloween and it is far superior to the first record they made without him. If you like melodic power metal they are worth a listen. I recently noticed you can get this album along with their second release on a 2 for 1 cd set at a bargain price.

Saw him solo in concert a couple of years ago. Had a cold, but was still outstanding. One of the top guitarists currently around, too. He's playing some gigs in England later this year so might *** across for one.

Oh, and not a bad songwriter, either

I've lost count of how many times I've seen him over the years. He has to be seen live to fully appreciate his talents.

Heres a clip of him doing someone else's song!
