Last week my girlfriend surprised me with a couple of records she'd found while out shopping, the best of Andy Williams she later confessed was really for her but Toto - IV was all mine.

It's taking all my restraint not to just skip to Africa.

Don`t skip! You`ll miss `I Won`t Hold You Back`, a sadly forgotten gem.

P.S. A very decent girlfriend to bring back some records. A keeper I`d say.

I'm a huge WT fan, and I've bought the first three of this years re-issues. Top quality pressings, great packaging, and most importantly great blues rock if you're into that sort of thing. Re-issue no.4 due in July, duly ordered.

Today:

Jackson C Frank-Jackson C Frank.

Throwing Muses-'The Real Ramona.'

Throwing Muses-'Hunkpapa.'

Stephen Stills Manassas-self-titled. When I was a young jumbucky, I always preferred Neil Young's records but I've changed my mind recently:I think Stills made the stronger and more durable albums. Or maybe I've just outgrown Neil. Dunno.

The Jess Roden Band-''Keep Your Hat On.' Great singer. Great musicians. He should have been huge. All of his records are worth hearing.

Bunny Wailer-'Blackheart Man.' Still a huge favourite.

Led Zeppelin 2 Companion disc. I really enjoyed this, nice to hear Livin, lovin maid without the vocals.
Also Led Zeppelin 3

Joe Bonamassa You and Me,

Mistreated from Deep Purple Burn.

A nice way to spend a wet morning, I started with some Thea Gilmore but that was not off vinyl but it warmed the system up.

I also played this
