I can't work out how to add a picture here but thanks to Virgin giving me little or no picture last night, it turned into a vinyl night and in no particular order;

Heart - Dreamboat Annie

Rush - 2112 & Exit Stage Left

Don Henley - Building the perfect beast

Bill Nelson - Chimera

Page & Plant - Unleaded

Marillion - Script

Pink Floyd - A collection of great dance songs

UB40 - In Dub

Zappa - Watermelon in Easter Hay (possibly one of the most fluid/sublime/unknown guitar solo's that you're likely to hear)

And a few others that I forgotten overnight!

Camel I can see your house from here, not played this in years, still sounds good.

Camel A live record sides 3 and 4 The Snow Goose always makes me smile when I remember a fellow student at the time thinking I was listening to Children's TV music!! That was a cassette version of the studio album long since chewed up and got rid of. But I always preferred this live version.

Yeah a great album, had to play the wife's copy as mine needs a clean. A band my son likes as well.

Cool! My wifes old LPs are up in the loft, and thats where they are staying ( eg: Bay City Rollers, Partridge Family, David Cassidy et al )

My musical adventures tend to be cyclical. Having gone through a few months of either internet radio on the SBT or CDs with the P3 gathering dust, I'm now on a big vinyl binge ( BTW, I love ALL formats, dont have a preference, definitely not a "Vinyls better than CD" person).

Anyway a mixed bag tonight..

Yo Frankie by Dion is one of the greatest pop albums you could ever listen to. Great musicians and a great Dave Edmunds production - sublime.

While I've been working away all week, my lovely wife has been busy with the soldering iron on my Pro-Ject Debut III (which I'd broken), and now, I can play my records again. :cheer:

Last night's listening:

Ringleader Of The Tormentors - Morrissey

Terrible production marrs (no Jonny pun intended) this LP by probably the most played singer in my music listening life. Shame, there are some incredible moments here.

Zep II

For me, it's the best sounding rock album in my collection. Huge sounding. Can only play it when I've got the house to myself. Requires full volume.

Neu 2

A great comedown after Zep.

Then I fell asleep.

Remote Control - The Tubes

Great choice.

One of the greatest albums that most people have never heard. An absolute classic to my ears and one that has had heavy rotation over the years since I bought it when it first came out. Strangely none of their other albums did it for me, but Remote Control is in my top 5 favourite albums.

I'm going to put it on now
