Have been considering getting Ocean Rain on vinyl, back in the day had all the rest on vinyl (still do) but OR on cassette and then cd. (Make that just bought vinyl!)

Currently listening to Kraftwerk, Tour de France double album on heavy gauge sounds gorgeous

My work place is closed, due to lack of interest. Mine not theirs. So this is what I'm listening to:

1) Initiation - Todd Rundgren.

This is the worst sounding LP of all time, surely. It's nearly 70 minutes long on a single vinyl album. Bonkers concept in all senses. Then again I actually found myself disregarding the sound quality and enjoying the sheer, vertiginous prog-ness of it all.

2) Jazz From Hell - Frank Zappa.

Play loud, annoy the neighbours, frazzle one's own brain.

Next up:

A Capella by Todd Rundgren.

Vauxhall & I - Morrissey.

Abrogated my work and family obligations, only for a day, so I've had a 12 hour and counting listening session. It's like being a student again, but with better food and a better system to play it all on.

I've worked my way through this stack:

Southpaw Grammar - Morrisssey

Clear Spot & Shiny Beast - Beefheart

The Mix - Kraftwerk

Evil Urges, Circuital, At Dawn and Okonosos - My Morning Jacket

Smile - The Beach Boys

Pop Art - Pet Shop Boys

Want Two - Rufus Wainwright

Katy Lied - Steely Dan

Hand In My Head/Cry(Dust Brothers Remix) - Money Mark

The Best of - Nazz (I've re-discovered my student Rundgren collection. This sounds great. An 80's re-issue of their 60's tracks)

All Things Must Pass - George Harrison

No Nukes - Various

Extricate - The Fall

Runt - Todd Rundgren

A few more hours until tomorrow dawns and reality kicks in.

Faithful - Todd Rundgren

I'm still trying to summon up the courage to give Uncle Meat another go . I don't think I've listened to it all the way through since buying it .

Don't know if it helps but I sequence it thus: Side 1,3,2 then the sublime side 4.

Or failing that, I stick on Kylie's Shocked on 12inch.

`Stephanie De Sykes` - Stephanie De Sykes This album includes `We`ll Find Our Day`. A lovely song which I used to be very fond of and somehow forgot about for many years! Been enjoying rediscovering it.
